WHAT ARE ESCAPE ROOMS?

An escape room is a physical adventure team building game in which players solve a series of puzzles and riddles using clues, hints and strategy to complete the objectives at hand. Players are given a set time limit to unveil a secret item which is hidden within the rooms or to solve a particular task. Rooms are not locked at any time and lights are always on.

​We have three themed rooms at our downtown Portsmouth office that allow groups to work as a team to complete a specific set of task to complete a specific goal. These are available to company/corporate events during the week (by appointment) and available to others on the weekends by booking online.

WHAT ARE GROUP EVENTS?

These are team building events that are specific tailored to your specific company or personal party needs. We offer about a dozen events that can be held anyplace in New England as well as Portsmouth. These are good for any size group.

WHAT ARE your hours?

Groups of 2-8 can book escape rooms online for Friday nights & Saturdays.

Company/corporate/private events can be held anyplace and at anytime. Arrangements can be made by sending us an email or completing the for on the Private Parties Tab. Escape rooms are available by appointment during the week and Sundays.

​HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?

Company/corporate events are quoted based on your specific event and needs. Send us an email for a quote. Escape rooms are $30 per person.

​IS THERE SOMETHING MY GROUP AND I SHOULD DO BEFORE OUR BOOKING?

Please bring your email confirmation and a signed waiver. If minors are a part of your group and under 18, their legal guardian must fill out a waiver form for them. Waivers are available on our website or paper copies when you arrive.

​HOW can I RESCHEDULE A BOOKING? ​

Rescheduling a booking can be done up to 24 hours before your booking time. On the website: go to My Account and go to manage all previous and future bookings. Reschedule after the 24 hour deadline will incur a rescheduling fee of $5 per ticket. If you reschedule, you will not qualify for a refund if you need to cancel afterwards. ​

HOW CAN I REFUND or CANCEL A BOOKING?

To refund or cancel a booking, this needs to be done up to 24 hours before your booking time at no charge. Go to My Account and you'll be able to manage all previous and future bookings. No cancellations are allowed after the 24 hour deadline. There is a reschedule for a fee of $5 per ticket! ​​

HOW FAR OUT CAN I BOOK?

There is no limit. After choosing what room you would like to book, use the arrows near the top right that has the word "today" between them and click over to a date that works for you. You can also click the select a date button near the top left to choose your date.

​WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?

Please bring your email confirmation. ​​

​WHEN SHOULD I ARRIVE?

Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled game time with your electronic waivers already signed. This allows us to check you in and complete a quick game briefing.

​HOW LONG DOES an escape room take? ​

It will take about 90 Minutes: 15 minutes for check in' and pregame briefing, 60 Minutes of game time, 15 minutes for post game review and photos. ​​

​CAN I BRING THINGS INTO THE ROOM? ​

Cell phones must be on mute and no photographic are allowed. Group photos will be taken after the event.

WHAT IF I ARRIVE LATE?

Games will begin promptly at the designated start time. If you are late, you can enter the room with your party with the remaining time in your time slot. You will we still have to go through proper briefing of the game even if you're late. 

HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN PLAY?

The ideal group size is 4-6 people, with the minimum being 2. In general, bigger teams have a better chance to complete your task. We advise 4-6 participants per team, and set the maximum team size at 6 for the Safari room and 8 for the other two rooms. 

Larger groups can go to our Private Party Tab to request a special time for their group.

​WHAT'S THE AGE LIMIT? ​

While there is no age limit, the ideal age is 12 years and older. You can bring younger children, but at least one team member must be an adult. If you do bring multiple children that are under 12 years old, consider booking the entire room and an adult must still be present. The Safari Room is great for younger children and has a room max of 6.

Children under 18 must have an adult participating in the group.

DO I NEED TO FILL OUT THE WAIVER AGAIN IF I DID IN THE PAST?

Yes, please sign a wavier each time.

​ARE ALL BOOKINGS DONE IN ADVANCE ON YOUR WEBSITE?

All of our bookings are reserved in advance via our booking system on our website.

HOW DO I LOOK AT THE AVAILABILITY FOR EACH ROOM? ​

Availability for each room is posted on our booking page online. 

CAN I PAY When I ARRIVAL?

All reservations for the our Escape Rooms must be booked online. A reservation can be made up to 5 minutes prior to an event with a smart phone and access to our site. If there is room availability when you arrive we can also book your tickets at this time.
